Not every trail is glorious but every trail serves a purpose. While short the Bog Trail should not be dismissed.
The Trail
The Bog Trail is a short mostly double track connector trail that runs between the North & South Plateau Loop and Bucca Family Trail and intersects with the Fire Tower Trail. As you probably surmised by the name, Bog Trail runs past a small bog which is home to an outdoor classroom used to teach eager minds about bogs, nature, and what not. To the overall ecosystem bogs are very important and are home a wide range of plants, insects, and animals.
